Anti-inflammatory and heals you if you’ve caught a cold or a sore throat. Turmeric has so much goodness that I could go on and on… If you are someone that is not a big fan of turmeric in your food, then this is a must try! The reason I say that is because you don’t get the overwhelming turmeric flavor in this ‘recipe, and with the almond milk and dash of cinnamon the overpowering flavors are mellowed giving you a nice mild drink with good benefits.

Flu-fighting golden turmeric almond milk
|Cook Time||Passive Time|
- 2cups cows milkor almond milk
- 2tsp turmeric powder
- 2tsp honey
- sprinkle cinnamon powder
- handful almondssoaked overnight
Tip- If your kids got a cold/sore throat its best to have this as a warm drink. You can add a pinch of pepper at the end. It will definitely be soothing and the turmeric has its own anti-inflammatory properties to treat them.
A pinch of grated nutmeg would also lift the flavors in this drink and, if you are looking to have this as a breakfast drink, try blending a banana to this. It will keep your little one's tummy fuller for longer.
In the chilled version, I love topping it with slivered almonds and chopped pistachios. It turns out to be a treat!
